As of May 3rd , a total of 1,037,675 or 50.2 percent were vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 494,847 people or 23.9 percent were vaccinated with the second dose.
According to the Ministry of Health, 81.8 percent or 780,007 people in the capital city were vaccinated. Of these, 407,445 have received the second dose of the vaccine. In rural areas, 257,668 people received the first dose and 87,402 people received the second dose.
There are 2406 doctors and medical specialists from 319 district doctors working in 111 fixed immunization points and 24 mobile (bus) points.
